Honda NX250

The Honda NX250 Dominator, like its little brother NX125, was an oddity of a new concept for the powersports legend. It was one part dirt bike, one part adventure bike and one part street bike. It's perhaps best noted as a dual sport dirt bike. Produced from 1988-1990 in the United States and up to 1993 in other countries, the NX250 off-road motorcycle was available throughout the USA from 1988 to 1990. The liquid-cooled NX250 featured the MD21E(1) engine at 249cc. The single-cylinder, four-valve DOHC four-stroke features an electric start as well as a bore and stroke of 70.0 mm × 64.8 mm (2.76 in × 2.55 in). With an 11:1 compression ratio, the NX250 delivered 25 horsepower (19 kW) @ 8500 RPM through a six-speed transmission. For the Honda NX250 parts and performance accessories, the suspension features 37mm front forks with 8.7 inches of travel, while the rear suspension features the Pro-Link with 7.9 inches of travel, making for a seat height of 32 inches. The Honda NX250 wheelbase measures up at 53 inches (1,350 mm). The street legal machine weighs in at 260 pounds (118kg) dry.
