Honda NX125

The Honda NX125 Trans City is an oddity amid the Honda lineup. It's part scooter, part dirt bike, part street bike and part adventure bike. The air-cooled NX125 was manufactured from 1989 to 1992. The single-cylinder, four-stroke, 124.8cc engine features a compression ratio of 9.5:1 with a 56.5 x 49.5 mm bore and stroke. The Honda NX125 specs note single 24mm carburetor for the induction system, a CDI ignition and an electric start. In the power department, the motorcycle boasts 13 horsepower at 9000 RPM and 2.2 pounds of torque (1.0 kg-m) at 7500 RPM. The chain-driven dual sport dirt bike makes use of a six-speed transmission. The front suspension features hydraulic fork tubes that are 35mm in diameter and feature 204mm of wheel travel. The rear suspension features a Prolink Monoshock with 180mm of wheel travel. The Honda NX125 front brakes feature a single 240mm disc and a two-piston caliper. The rear brake is a 110mm drum. The front tire is a 300 -21 tire on a 21-inch wheel, whereas the NX125 rear wheel is a 460 -17 tire on a 17-inch wheel. The Honda NX125 specifications note a dry weight of 264 pounds (120 kg) and fuel capacity of 2.3 gallons (9 liters).
