Michelin Tires produces one of the most prized Tecate SCORE Baja 250, Baja 500 and Baja 1000 desert off-road racing upon a dirt bike, the Michelin Bib Mousse, which is a tire tube that mounts on the front wheel and serves as an ultra-heavy duty tire tube that does not go flat and takes the abuse of cactus and other obstacles that generally flatten other tire tubes. While there are some who tempt fate by placing the Michelin Bib Mousse on the rear tire, this is not recommended for racing, especially high-speed desert off-road racing, where the high speeds will melt the rear tube.
